During high school, Sara performed in many community theatre productions, and also performed at New World Stages and the Minskoff Theatre. In 2012, she also performed at New York City's Metropolitan Room in her first NYC cabaret.

In August 2011, Sara began attending Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina, where she graduated with her BFA in Musical Theatre in May 2015. During her time there, she performed in numerous productions and concerts. Since graduation, Sara has appeared as the national anthem singer for the Westchester Knicks, performing the national anthem at the team's home games in White Plains, NY. She's also worked on several television shows, including HBO's "Divorce", "Impractical Jokers", and Travel Channel's "Mysteries at the Museum".
